Stay in Uptown Casino | Modern City Apartment

Despite the initial difficulty with access, we really liked this property and will return, Positive: Loved the size of the property and the location. It has a fabulous view (despite the crane and building site next door). Adjacent to the Star Casino and Skydeck precinct and walking distance to all the great attractions of Brisbane CBD. Negative: An email about how to collect the key was not sent 24 hours ahead of the booking date as per the protocol given in the booking confirmation email. We arrived at the property and had no way to access it, which was frustrating. After messaging and emailing the host, I was directed to a different address to pick up the key. It took about 30 minutes to gain access to the room.

Great place to stay for good value and easy hosts. Very stress free experience. Positive: It’s was in a central location, the hosts were very polite, the apartment was clean and comfortable, and provided useful amenities.

Loud neighbours music all night... but the apartment in itself was amazing.. Positive: Was closer to work and hence I liked the place. The view was great.. the apartment was clean and had everything one needs for a stay.. loved the facilities that were available in the apartment. Was a task to get the keys.. ezey supermarket was the collection point but there were couple in the vicinity and had to walk around to find the right one. Negative: The name of the apartment was not mentioned.. only stated 1BR apartment.. queens wharf residence shouldhave been stated to avoid confusion.. it wouldnt have taken me 2 and half hours to find the place.. uber kept taking me to star grand hotel and without a name it was ridiculously difficult to locate the place.. there is no parking either and hence the uber ride dropped off at star grand.. and i had to carry suitcases across the road to the apartment...
